Students will take an Accelerated Reader quiz for the story OR complete an activity on the lesson.
Students will check out a book.

This week we will learn about Dr. Carter G. Woodson, an African American man that is called the "Father of Black History Month". Watch the videos below to learn more about him and how Black History Month began! :)
For my Wednesday morning substitute, please play each video in the order shown below. You may ask students questions or discuss what they saw as you see fit.

who WANT to color do so (see the Mae Jemison mini-posters I left)
AND/OR they may read ebooks on Epic

AND/OR they may work on Lexia Core.
