Learning Targets:

Students will listen to a story and answer verbal and computer-based comprehension questions about the story.

Next week is Thanksgiving break! We'll be out of school during the entire week of November 20th - 24th, and we'll return back to school on Monday, November 27th.

While you're with your family, name 10 things you are thankful for and tell why! :) Being thankful is called having gratitude, and it can lead to greater happiness! :) This video will give you examples. Try to name at least 10 things you're thankful for, and ask your family members to name 10 things, too! You'll see how many wonderful things you and your family have to be thankful for.

Also, during this break, be sure to get plenty of rest, read some of our ebooks, and enjoy spending time with your family!

Each of the books listed below has an Accelerated Reader quiz. Select the book that is most appropriate for the current class. The pictures below are links. If you click on the image, it will take you to a YouTube read aloud of that book. When you're done listening to it, you can go to the Scholars page and log in to Accelerated Reader through the Renaissance link OR through Clever. The AR quiz number for each book is included in the picture below.
