Week beginning - Monday 5th January 2026
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
What a fabulous start we have had to our new module! The children returned to school this week with great energy, only to find a mysterious, giant beanstalk that had appeared right inside our classroom! This exciting arrival has served as the "hook" for our new Inquiry unit all about Journeys. We have spent the week wondering exactly where that beanstalk might lead and exploring the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk to spark our imaginations. The children have been incredibly eager to engage with this new learning, sharing wonderful ideas about the different types of journeys we can take—both real and imaginary. It has been a joy to see them so curious and excited to see what happens next in our adventure. We look forward to seeing where this journey takes us next week!
