Dear Parent / Carer

At the end of this half-term, there is much to celebrate and look forward to within the Onslow St Audrey’s community.  I am sure you will enjoy reading the ‘good news’ stories below; we are so proud of all students who have taken part in these initiatives. 

I would also like to thank Mrs Flint, Assistant Headteacher, for her dedicated service to OSA over the last five years.  Mrs Flint has been instrumental in developing our Sixth Form provision and the quality of teaching and learning across the school.  She is moving on to a new leadership opportunity locally; we wish her all the very best and thank her for everything she has done for the staff and students of OSA.

I am delighted to introduce our new Student Leadership team for 2023-24.  These Year 12 students have demonstrated their ability and willingness to go the extra mile and have been rewarded with positions on the team following a rigorous interview process.  We welcome Naomi Latinwo as next year’s Student President.  Ella Hope and Thomas Tual take up the posts of Student Vice-President.  The team will be ably supported by the wider group of Student Leaders: Suleman Ahad, Leo Angius, Ellie Lea, Yasin Miah, Luiza Pavlova, Victoria Redman Clarke and Katy Soppett-Moss.  Best of luck to all as they take up their new posts.

Looking ahead to our return after the half-term break, I would like to remind you that students are welcome to wear OSA’s summer uniform which is outlined below.  Preparations are well underway for our Year 6 into 7 Summer School in the last week of July; please encourage anyone you know with a child starting Year 7 in September to book them onto it.  Finally, Mrs Casotti and I would like to invite you to a ‘Parent Update’ evening from 5pm to 6pm on Thursday 22nd June.  We will share information about initiatives undertaken this academic year, and plans for next academic year, in the session and I look forward to seeing many of you there.
