It was a great day out for our CCF cadets to RAF Museum, Hendon. We've learnt new historical facts about the different people involved in our defence.
A good reward for our cadets to relax after working so hard throughout the year. We're looking forward to next year.
Well done to all our cadets, we appreciate all your efforts!
'I really enjoyed the RAF trip as I had the opportunity to learn more about the RAF which is something I love For example, I got to see one of my favourite planes the Spitfire.'
Amelia (Y7)
I always love going to the RAF Museum because there is always something new to learn! I found it great also teaching what I know of the aircraft to those around me. Truly one of the best reasons to join the CCF!’
John (Y12)
'I loved the trip all of it because it was so much fun. There were lots of planes to see. My favourite plane was the Lancaster Bomber and it was amazing to see how huge it was in reality. Also, there was a lot of RAF history I didn't know and I was interested in Mrs Fisher's family history with the RAF.'
TJ (Y7)
'Even though I have been there before, I enjoyed the experience with our cadets. It was funny at times and it was a good end to another year with CCF!'
