As we come to the end of this eventful school year, I wanted to share some highlights and express my gratitude for the warm welcome I've received as the new school librarian. It's been a pleasure getting to know each of you and witnessing your passion for reading and learning. Our Euro football display was a success, capturing the excitement of the tournament and showcasing the diverse cultures of the participating countries. More recently, the Olympics exhibit has brought the essence of international competition and athleticism into our library, sparking interest in learning about the history and heroes of the games. Personally, I am currently reading the acclaimed novel by Alice Walker "The Color Purple," a deeply moving and thought-provoking novel that I recommend to anyone seeking a compelling read.
Thank you all for making my initial months here so memorable. I eagerly anticipate many more enriching experiences in the library next year.
Wishing you a fantastic summer filled with joyful reading!
