Eric Wayne Parker II

Eric Parker II graduated from the University of Oklahoma Rainbolt College of Education in 2018 where he was selected as the Outstanding Senior in Social Studies Education. He is a veteran of the Oklahoma Army National Guard and served during his first two years as a teacher. He has only taught in Oklahoma City Public Schools with the first two years at Northwest Classen from 2018-2020 and then at Taft Middle School from 2020-present. Eric was selected as a 20 Under 2 teacher in 2020, which is a list of promising Oklahoma teachers within their first 2 years of teaching. He has also been featured in the Oklahoman and the New York Times. He serves as the ACAC Boys Soccer Champion Coach and current Site Athletic Coordinator at Taft. He is a certified ELL Instructor and has served as team lead for Taft’s 7/8 Split Newcomer team for two years. Eric is currently enrolled at UCO seeking a master’s degree in Bilingual Education.
