Dominique Poncelet is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Akron, and pursued a traditional teacher certification through study at the University of Oklahoma. She has taught middle school scientists for the past eight years focusing on using science storylines to achieve the vision of three-dimensional science as set forth in the Oklahoma Academic Standards. Since 2019, Dominique has facilitated professional learning opportunities for teachers centered on use of high quality instructional materials, and engaging students as scientists and engineers who ask questions and design solutions. She also collaborates on nationwide projects about curriculum design, teacher and student supports, and meaningful three-dimensional assessment.
