Heather Crawford-Ferre - Education Program Professional
Graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2017 with a PhD in education. She also holds bachelor’s degrees in elementary and special education and a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in mathematics education. Dr. Crawford-Ferre has recently been honored with Northern Nevada's Outstanding Mathematics Educator Award, the Moss Family Award in Graduate Elementary Math Education, and UNR's Outstanding Graduate Student award. She previously served as a teacher, coach and professional development provider. Dr. Crawford-Ferre currently serves as the state coordinator for the Nevada Ready 21 program, where she works to manage educational technology for the state of Nevada. She is also a founding member and treasurer for the Nevada Mathematics Education Leadership Council.
Mike Malone – Program Manager & Communications Officer
Prior to joining the Nevada Ready 21 (NR21) program, Mike worked as a project manager for a Fortune 500 company. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various literacy initiatives and continues to advocate for equitable access to a quality education. As the NR21 Program Manager and Communications Officer, Mike is responsible for ensuring all participants in the program are supported, as well as communicating school success to Nevada’s legislators, business community & other stakeholders. Mike is incredibly proud that the NR21 program is an important part of the New Nevada economy and believes the best opportunities we can create for our students will come from the learning at the heart of the Nevada Ready 21 program.

Ingrid Johnson - Project Facilitator & Professional Development Strategist
Ingrid Johnson works as a Professional Development Strategist for the Nevada Ready 21 (NR21) grant and also administers Professional Development courses for the Online and Blended Learning Department at the Clark County School District (CCSD). Previously, Ingrid enjoyed teaching both online and blended courses in Canvas for Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD. In addition, her experience as a Digital Learning Coach (DLC) at CCSD provided opportunities to plan, prepare and implement customized professional development presentations to faculties throughout the district. These experiences ignited a passion for personalized learning and a knowledge that Blended Learning is the future of education.

Audra Arman-Richardson - Project Facilitator & Professional Development Strategist
Audra currently supports the Nevada Ready 21 Grant as a Professional Learning Strategist. Although education is Audra’s second career path, education is truly her passion. Her first introduction to teaching was as a Teacher’s Reader, supporting an exceptional educator who was legally blind. Inspired, Audra pursed her formal education with Cal State University Fullerton, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts as well as Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with an emphasis on Art integration. Audra has worked with elementary schools for the last decade in a variety of roles, include Response to Intervention (RIT) Instruction, classroom teacher, new teacher mentor, and liaison with student teacher programs. In addition, Audra assisted her district as a Curriculum Writer when the integration of Common Core standards took place. Her current passion is blended learning. Audra is a certified Blended Learning Instructor through Clark County School District and has been utilizing her knowledge as a blended fifth-grade teacher, during which she designed much of her own curriculum aligned with NCCS. Audra seeks to inspire and support fellow educators and Digital Learning Coaches as they adopted technology and the various models of blended learning on their campuses.

Dr. Jayne James – Performance Manager, Wexford Inc.
Jayne enjoys teaming with others to innovate and improve learning and teaching. She has led a number of federal grants and contracts, and has experience serving local, state, regional, national and international initiatives. As Senior Director of Education Leadership for ISTE, Jayne and her teams developed technology-enhanced coaching standards and delivered professional development services to teachers across the globe. She is a firm believer in the power of partnerships to leverage results, which can only be achieved by working collaboratively; a belief reinforced by leading high performing teams as the Executive Director of the Ready to Learn Initiative at the Corporation of Public Broadcasting, with state technology directors in her role as Team Lead for the EETT program at the U.S. Department of Education, and as a technical assistant consultant for personalized learning and digital equity initiatives. Previously, Jayne served as State Education Technology Director in Kansas, and has taught at all levels of education; pre-school through graduate studies. She holds a doctorate in Technology Leadership from Kansas State University with an emphasis in online professional development.
Amy AL-Khalisi - Ed Tech Project Manager, CTL
Amy is a liaison between Nevada school districts and CTL as part of the Nevada Ready 21 (NR21) program. CTL is the company that provides the comprehensive solution for the statewide program, which includes Chromebooks, networking wireless infrastructure, a rich suite of apps, online tools and a robust package of service and professional development.
Amy holds a Masters of Special Education: Cross-Categorical, K-12 from Grand Canyon University, she has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Warner Pacific College and is a licensed Speech Pathologist and Audiology Assistant. With over 10 years of classroom experience that includes using technology to enhance the learning experience, Amy is enthusiastic about helping schools to make the most of 1:1 solutions. She enjoys the combination of using her passion for teaching and technology in this position.
Amy is a member of the National Teachers Association, and the American Speech and Hearing Association. She enjoys getting involved in her community and has been a Special Olympics volunteer and organizer as well as a Pace Director for the Portland Rock ‘N’ Roll Half Marathon. Amy enjoys exploring the outdoors, whether it's hiking to the highest peak in the United States, Mount Whitney, or to a local lake with her two pups Lexi and Taquito.

Blanca Duarte - Chief Enablement Officer & Educational Technology Consultant, LogicWing
Blanca Duarte is a Google and Microsoft Education professional development partner. For over 15 years, she has worked in public and private education, helping educators use technology to live, work, and learn. Her passion lies in fostering community, building capacity, and helping learners reach their full potential.
Blanca’s work involves helping educators develop the digital skills necessary to lead and guide learners through our digital world. She enjoys collaborating with administrators and teachers to create new ways to motivate and engage learners in deeper uses of technology. She coordinators professional development for the NR21 program, focused primarily on the external NR21 events like the digital learning summits and the implementation team/PLC webinars.
