What's up, good people? Are you having a nice day? I hope so.

• We started the day with sustained silent reading.

• Next, I told an embarrassing story. For sentence structure, students were asked to write a short paragraph about a time when they were recently embarrassed using all simple sentences.

• After that, we discussed the ending of The Fall of the House of Usher and answered the Comprehension Check questions at the end of the story on page 31 in the workbook.

• To end, we participated in a group circle discussion. The question was, "If you had to reincarnate into another type of animal, what type of animal would you become and why?"
