10/18/22

What's up, good people? Are you having a nice day? I hope so. I hope that you decided that you are a bad Mamma-Jamma, and you are going to take over the world starting today. So get on with your bad self!

To begin the period, students read for fifteen minutes.

Next, we reviewed compound-complex sentences. Students looked at a series of them that I put on the board, and they first figured out how to label the clauses, and then they put the punctuation where it belonged.

To end, we discussed the Genre Narrative Writing Assignment and when it should be due. We decided that students would have until 11/1/22 to turn in the story. I will give the remainder of this week to work on it in class. Next week, we will start something new, but I will not give much if any homework. And the week after that is when it must be submitted.

Let me know if you have questions.
