Hello friends! Do you have your costumes picked out? I hope that you are making yours. Homemade always trumps the plastic store-bought ones in my book. Anyhow, we had a pretty spooky day in class.

To begin, the students and I read our novels for 15 minutes.

After that, I pulled cards and students who were picked told the class what their nightmare was, and then I showed the picture to the class. It was really cool and a fun day. Some of the images were very creative and scary. Great job, folks!

HOMEWORK:

• Genre Narratives are due on Tuesday 11/1. The proper MLA heading for the assignment is to set a left margin. Add your full name at the very top. Mr. Boger under that. The course title English II goes below there, and the date should be at the very bottom. For example:

English II

• Also, I am entering grades when I arrive at school on Monday around 8:30AM. Specifically, I am entering the three pages of narratives that were due on Monday 10/24 and the nightmare images that were due today. Make sure that I have received yours.
