10/20/22

Friday is so close, so stay strong good people!

We started the day with fifteen minutes of sustained silent reading.

After that, students received a copy of the following sentences. They labeled the clauses and added the proper punctuation.

  1. Fuzzy Bunny is a psychopath who chews people’s arms instead of carrots and he uses the drop kick as a finishing move in street fights.

  2. Most rabbits only live a year or two in the wild but since Fuzzy was once domesticated he will probably live longer.

  3. Fuzzy is said to be the progenitor of over 184,597,433,860 rabbits who share his DNA and people have reported seeing his trademark black Mohawk on kits up and down the East Coast.

To end, students continued to work on their stories. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow each person is expected to write at least one page of prose a day and/or the outline, so by Monday each person should have two pages of fiction and the outline completed. The outline is explained in the 10/19/22 post. Good luck and email me if you are struggling.
