Term 1 Assessments are now complete. We would like to say a big thank you; to you and your children for all your hard work during the Term.
Teaching and Learning will continue next week and it is important that your children come to school. Next week is Arabic week and there will be a lot of enriching events and activities for the children to take part in.

Think of different combinations of parts that can make the whole of 20.
Write a number in the first part and count on from this number (unfolding your fingers as you count) until you reach 20. How many fingers are you holding up now? This is your other part. When you add these two numbers/parts together you will find the whole of 20.

Use the fact file to help you complete the work and learn some interesting facts
This activity require two dice and 2 players (can play with a brother, sister, mom or dad) as well as two different colour pencils. First player roll both dice, add the two numbers, then colour the picture (sense) with that number on, e.g. 2 + 4 = 6 then you will colour the hand. Also label each picture as hear, see, smell, taste or touch.
Complete the senses journey to school by writing an object that you could hear, see, smell, feel and taste. If independent writing is too challenging your child can draw a picture at each sense.
