Blackboard course organisational sites - There are some changes happening behind the scenes in the blackboard organisational sites which is happening to all AHP courses. You will be switched onto a site which is specific to your course level and will remain on this for the rest of your course. This will aim to reduce unwanted communication across the different levels and will help to make mandatory training easier for you. The general information will remain the same across all levels.
Group representative meetings are being organised with your Year Leads. Please look out for correspondence from them in relation to this. If you have any feedback please direct this to your group rep for them to communicate this with us.
Safety measures - Please adhere to the University guidance whilst on campus and the instructions from your lecturer during practical sessions.
Communication channels - Please ensure you understand the routes of communication and who to contact. Please remember we have a 48h response time and you do not need to forward messages immediately to our out of office contacts if your message is not urgent. If you do not get a response to your initial email/message please escalate to your Year Lead. Using Microsoft Teams chat is the preferred method of communication for Level 4 and 5.
Practical sessions - Please ensure you bring a pillow and a towel to practical sessions for model comfort and maintaining dignity.
We hope you are settling in well and finding your way around Blackboard, zoom and the campus.
Microsoft teams - We are using the teams channel for your cohort for updates. You can post questions there too for your year lead (Claire Staniland) and Course Lead (Lucy Stephens). You have a group chat with your academic advisor and can direct message any staff on there if needed.
Induction tasks - please make sure you have completed the induction tasks - see Induction checklist. The deadline for uniforms is fast approaching.
