Welcome back! We hope you all had a relaxing break over the last few weeks and are back refreshed to start the new year.
Covid Vaccination status - You will have all received email information from the Dean of College Toni Swartz, regarding vaccination status and data collection which is in response to government legislation. A copy of the letter can be found here. Please ensure you read this information carefully and complete the declaration request to enable you to continue to be compliant with Occupational Health regulations in relation to health care placements.
COVID rules in University - Please remember to take a lateral flow test before coming into University for face to face sessions. You must now wear a face mask in University buildings and during all teaching sessions unless exempt from doing so. Staff will be encouraging you to adhere to the guidance.

MSK: You should have received your MSK assessment results. Please check my grades on the Blackboard site. Please review your feedback and plan how you will use this to improve on other assessments going forward. Speak to your Academic Advisor for further support.
CVR: Please ensure you are looking at learning material folders before and after your sessions to complete the pre and post session activities.

Careers Fayre - We are still planning for this to go ahead week commencing 24th January but this will now be online instead of on campus. We have a number of employers and guest speakers lined up to talk to you and cover some interesting topics. The schedule will be available soon for you to pick and choose which events and talks to attend. There are two renowned Physiotherapists speaking on the first day.
PCR / Self-Isolation
You should be continuing to take Lateral Flow tests prior to attending University face to face sessions. The SHU guidance can be found here. If you receive a positive test please follow the national guidance and book a PCR Test to confirm. If you need to self isolate, please remember to inform your academic advisor / Year Lead and click on 'report a case'. You do not need to inform the Course Leader about your absence.
