Important Practice Experience Clearance - Please check emails regularly and ensure that you respond to all communications from Professional Services and Occupational Health in a timely manner. It is your responsibility to complete all tasks before your Practice experience eg. immunisations, DBS checks etc. This is for your safety and the safety of service users, therefore failure to do so will exclude you from any patient facing activities. There are no exceptions to this. If you are not cleared you will not go out into practice. Go to the "GROW+" section of the Course Organisation blackboard site and then click on the folder labelled " Level 4 EXPLORE: Components 1-5” and in there you will find “COMPONENT 3: Using my strengths & developing career ideas" which covers:
Using your strengths.
Being hopeful about your career development
Developing Hope.
Thinking about your skills and experience.
Discover your preferences & strengths.
Use a word document or paper and pen to do the tasks and save / store them somewhere you can find them.
If you haven't completed the components 1 and 2 then its easy to do these before doing component 3. There is only one more component to do after this , component 4, and then you will have completed the full L4 GROW+ programme and will receive a certificate of completion.

Course changes briefing: Thank you to all students who attended the Course changes briefing for Level 5 on Tuesday. If you were not able to attend the session please watch the recording which can be accessed below. If you have any questions relating to this please speak to your Group rep, AA or Year Lead.

Mandatory training: Can all Level 5 Students please check and ensure you have completed the relevant online mandatory training in preparation for placement. If you do not complete this by Friday 8th April 2022 you will not be cleared in time to go out on placement. This is a placement provider requirement. The online training packages you need to complete are listed below. Please contact Emily Patrick or Stef Pullinger (Mandatory Training Leads) for any related queries about completion
PP2: Thanks for all those who contributed to the PP2 prep sessions. Please ensure you are preparing your SWOT, mini CV and learning objectives so that you can contact your educator as soon as you have their details. We will keep in touch with those students who have not yet been allocated a PP2.

Modelling for L4 exams: Four L6 students are required to model for L4 Neuro exams this year. This will be an opportunity for revision of Neuro knowledge, handling ... etc, which will be helpful in your job hunting journey.
