Safety on nights out - You may all be aware of an increased number of spiking across UK cities including Sheffield. Please take a look at the SHU guidance here to check how you can stay safe whilst out and about at night. Sheffield prides itself on being a safe city and the University are keen to prevent these instances and support those affected. If you are concerned about this please speak to your Academic Advisor and Hallam Help,
Staff Student Committee meeting - The next SSCM is on the 11th January 2022. If you have any feedback please ensure you liaise with your group reps before this meeting.
Self selection of exams - In response to student feedback and following consultation the Course Management Team have agreed that all student exams will now be fully allocated by the Module Leader. There will be no self-selection of exams in future Physiotherapy Specific modules.
🎄 Student Christmas social events 🎄- Please hold the dates for the Christmas social events (flyer below) in your diaries. These won't appear on your formal timetable. The Level 5 Christmas social has unfortunately been cancelled. We are mindful of the current Covid situation and will keep you updated if our Christmas social plans need to change.

FPP- please look out for an online anytime folder being released later next week. Please make sure you are working on your formative case study presentations. We will soon have semester 2 timetables to give you the date you will be presenting. I have released the practice experience assessment brief and a summary assessment screen cast

PCS - We hope you are all feeling more prepared and ready for your PCS exams in the next few weeks.
Placement - PP1/ ACRDM catch up info should be released in w/c 13th Dec. Please be ready with your mini - CVs to get in touch with your Practice Educator/provider asap before the Christmas break. This is important to ensure all IT access can be arranged in preparation for you starting in w/c 24/01/21.
Placement - We hope you enjoyed your placement. Please submit forms asap to Blackboard. Late submissions WILL mean marks are capped. If you are struggling to upload your documents please contact your AA ASAP or the placements team. Please reflect on your development and feedback and create an Action Plan to take forwards to APP2.
PCCM - Please make sure you are prepared for the upcoming sessions between now and Christmas. Please check the module Bb site for the materials.
Employability - We are planning some materials, activities and sessions for you in January. We are also looking into the possibility of a careers event around this time. Look out for more information about this!
PCR / Self-Isolation
You should be continuing to take Lateral Flow tests prior to attending University face to face sessions. The SHU guidance can be found here. If you receive a positive test please follow the national guidance and book a PCR Test to confirm. If you need to self isolate, please remember to inform your academic advisor / Year Lead and click on 'report a case'. You do not need to inform the Course Leader about your absence.
