Preparing Uniform (Male)
NPCC Full Uniform
These are the different parts to your NPCC Uniform.
Beret
2. Shirt (with buttons, badges & name tag)
3. Pants
4. Belt
5. Boots & Black Socks
1.Beret
Folded / pressed
Clean and free of dust, no loose thread
Crest above left eye
2. Shirt
a) Ironing the shirt
Collar should be standing
Ironed sleeve lines should start from back of the shoulder lapels
b) Buttons
c) Formation Sign
Velcro must be sewn onto the uniform
Formation sign should be sewn 3 finger widths below the shoulder lapel along the sleeve line
d) Rank
Slot into shoulder lapel and button up
e) Name Tag
Name tag should be centralised 1cm above the pocket.
3. Pants
Pants should not be too tight or too baggy
Should be worn at the waist and not on the hips
Should be altered such that half of the boots will be covered
No gathers should be seen at the boots
Iron lines from the front should start from the inner side of the first and last belt loop
Iron lines at the back of the pants should start from the central seam
4. Belt
Belt holes and side of the belts are to be black
Belt buckle in the centre of body
Belt loop 2 finger widths away from the end of the belt
Anti-clockwise through pant loops
Belt loop between 1st and 2nd loop of pants
5. Socks and Boots
Only plain black socks
All parts of the boots should be cleaned and polished to a shine with solid black shoe polish.
NO liquid Kiwi polish
Only boots issued by HQ are to be worn
Male
Socks should still be seen when boots are worn
Boot laces tied with chain knot
6. Wearing them together
Shirt to be tucked in till at least 2/3 of the belt can be seen
Press studs should be sewn onto the shirt pockets and clipped on
Big buttons should be aligned with belt buckle
Belt buckle should be in the centre of the body and aligned to the trousers zip.
Together with the shirt, all 3 parts are to be aligned
