SPF-NPCC Badge Presentation Ceremony

The Singapore Police Force – National Police Cadet Corps Badge (SPF-NPCC Badge) is the pinnacle award for NPCC cadets for their outstanding performance and contribution to the Corps. The students go through 2 rounds of interview where they share about what they have learned during their time with NPCC and only the best of the best will then be awarded the badge.

This year, only 209 students from all over Singapore are awarded this badge and an e-Ceremony was held on 17th April 2021 to recognise their efforts.

LVSS NPCC is proud to have a recipient of this prestigious award!

SSgt (NPCC) Muhd Haashir was the Deputy Chairperson of NPCC and led the Unit to organize its training and events.

As a Squad Leader, he is patient with his juniors and teaches them the skills they need.

In addition, he actively represents the school in competitions and parades and was part of the Flag Party contingent for the NPCC Annual Parade in 2019.

Haashir received his badge and certificate from our Principal, Mr Lee Hak Boon during a badge presentation ceremony in school.

Well done Haashir and we are proud of you!

NPCC Day Observance Ceremony

To commemorate this year's NPCC Day, LVSS NPCC planned for a parade to be carried out in school. However, it had to be cancelled as schools moved into home-based learning.

As such, the cadets of LVSS NPCC recorded themselves reciting the NPCC pledge to re-dedicate themselves to the Corps once again.

We wish every member of NPCC a happy NPCC day!

Virtual NPCC Annual Parade

This year, an inaugural Virtual NPCC Annual Parade was held to commemorate NPCC's 62nd Anniversary.

To participate in the parade, some of our Cadet Leaders recorded themselves beforehand.

Sgt (NPCC) Wayne Teo & Sgt (NPCC) Hilwah performed drills,

Sgt (NPCC) Adil Rayyan recited the NPCC Pledge,

and Sgt (NPCC) Qurratu'aini sang the National Anthem.

P/CI (NPCC) Sumayyah was also part of the Guard-of-Honour contingent for the parade.

It was a unique experience for all, but everyone was proud to be part of the parade!

Sec 1 Swearing-In Ceremony

Each year, new Secondary 1 cadets take part in a Swearing-In Ceremony to officiate them as NPCC cadets.

This year, the ceremony was held online for the first time on 30th March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, 25 LVSS NPCC Unit Secondary One cadets joined our big family as they swore in with their dedication and commitment to the Corps.

We wish them all the best in their 4 or 5 year of NPCC life!

Area 11 Games Day

Held on 26th March, our Sec 1 cadets, Irfan, Haafiz, Lucas, Lutfil and Trisya took part in an online version of the Area 11 Games Day!

We are proud to announce that the team came in 3rd in the station organised by Tanjong Katong Secondary School! Well done!

Passing-Out Parade & Investiture

9th March was the Cadet Leaders (CLs) final training and they had their Passing-Out Parade!

While only the Cadet Leaders were in the parade, the parade was live-streamed so that the other cadets are able to witness it!

During the parade, SI (NPCC) Nurin, SI (NPCC) Levon, SSgt (NPCC) Haashir and SSgt (NPCC) Syafa'ah received their Outstanding Contribution Awards from the school!

After which, every Cadet Leader received a token of appreciation from our OC Unit, Mr Harry Wong, for their contribution to the Corps.

Shortly after, the Investiture was held to appoint the Secondary 3 cadets as Cadet Leaders.

Sgt (NPCC) Wayne Teo was appointed the Chairperson, with Sgt (NPCC) Adil, Sgt (NPCC) Aini and Sgt (NPCC) Hilwah as the Deputy Chairpersons!

Each individual squads then had their farewell for the CLs as we all wish them all the best for their upcoming N/O Level examinations!

Sec 3 Leadership Camp

With only 2 weeks before the Sec 4 CLs step down, the Sec 3 cadets finally had their Leadership Camp!

As a start, they participated in a Marksmanship Programme to prepare them for their upcoming 0.22 Revolver Classification Shoot!

They had then go through a series of challenges throughout the day that tests their teamwork and resilience.

As the time past by, we are glad to see that more Sec 3 cadets are stepping forward to lead and them working well together to overcome these challenges.

At the end of the day, they showed great resilience by conquering the almost impossible physical challenge by completing large number of push ups, sit up, runs and jumping jets!

We hope that through this camp, the Sec 3 cadets will understand the importance of team work and resilience as we believe that they will lead the Unit to greater heights!

Sec 2 Day Camp

While the Sec 2s have been with us for a year, this is the first time they had a camp together in school! The Cadet Leaders planned a series of competition as the squad learn how to work with each other.

From badminton competition to various station games, the cadets pitted both their brains and brawns against each other!

Through the activities, the cadets also got to know each other better!

Everyone had lots of fun and we look forward to the next camp with Sec 2s again!

Sec 1 Day Camp

We had our first major event this year as we welcomed the Sec 1 cadets to our NPCC family!

A total of 25 NPCC cadets joined LVSS NPCC this year!

During the camp, the Sec 1 cadets took part in numerous activities! We hoped that they got to know the CLs and each other better!

They also learned how to cook with mess tins and solid fuel for their very first time!

We hope that they had lots of fun and that their time in NPCC will be a enjoyable and fruitful one!
