Preparing the Uniform (Female)

NPCC Full Uniform

These are the different parts to your NPCC uniform.

1. Beret (w/ hairnet)

2. Blouse (with buttons, badges & name tag)

3. Skirt

4. Belt

5. Black socks & boots

1.Beret

  • Folded / pressed

  • Clean and free of dust, no loose thread

  • Crest above left eye


  • Hair must tied up and secured neatly using BLACK accessories (recommended to use Figure-of-8 clip)

  • Girls must wear a HAIRNET before putting on the beret


2. Blouse

a) Ironing the Blouse

  • Collar should be flat.

  • Ironed sleeve lines should start from back of the shoulder lapels

c) Formation Sign

  • Velcro must be sewn onto the uniform

  • Formation sign should be sewn 3 finger widths below the shoulder lapel along the sleeve line

d) Rank

  • Slot into shoulder lapel and button up

e) Name Tag

  • Name tag should be in line with first button and centralised at the right portion of the blouse

3. Skirt

  • There should be NO iron lines or creases

  • Its length should be at 3 finger widths above the back of the knee when worn

  • The skirt should not be too tight or too short

4. Belt

  • Belt holes and side of the belts are to be black

  • Belt buckle in the centre of body

  • Belt loop 2 finger widths away from the end of the belt

5. Socks and Boots

  • Only plain black socks

  • All parts of the boots should be cleaned and polished to a shine with solid black shoe polish.

  • NO liquid Kiwi polish

  • Only boots issued by HQ are to be worn

Female

  • Socks should cover half the calf

  • Both socks should be of the same height

  • Should not be loose

  • Boot laces tied with butterfly knot

6. Wearing them together

  • Pockets must not be seen when tucked in

  • Buttons should be in line with belt buckle


  • Zip of skirt should be in line with the seam line of the blouse
