James Rizzi
As you are aware 2 Thunberg previously visited Central London to have a look at some of the famous landmarks based around London. This week they took inspiration from James Rizzi who is an artist to create their own James Rizzi style city of London. They have begun to create their buildings. After this we will piece all of the buildings together to create a city.
This is the style of art work that we are working towards.

L.O: To look for human and physical geography in Greenwich Park
This week Year 2 visited the Royal Greenwich Park to have a look at the human and physical geography within the park. We looked at things that may seem like physical geography but is actually man made like the boating pond, for example. They will now compare the physical and human geographical features with the Olympic Park.

Microhabitats
This week in Year 2 we have been looking at microhabitats. We went out into the playground and used scientific equipment to see whether we could find mini-beasts in microhabitats. As we toured the school there wasn't a lot that we could find due to the current season. However we did come across some mini-beasts hiding within plants. Have a look below to see what we found. We will keep trying throughout different seasons of the year to see which season they like to come out in the most.

Food Chains
In Year 2, as part of our Science topic Living Things and Their Habitats, we looked at food chains. Once we understood what a food chain is we had to think about whether they would be linear or circular, as the chain doesn’t necessarily end but it is more like a cycle.

Animals and Their Habitats
This week in Science we have been asking questions about why different animals live in different habitats. After doing research on three habitats we understood it’s features and why certain animals would live there and they would survive there. Have a read of some of our outcomes below.
