Our topic for this term is 'Light and Dark'. This week we have been learning about Bonfire Night and fireworks. The children made representations of bonfires, rockets, sparklers and Catherine wheels. We have also been learning to recite a poem about bonfire night. We carried out an experiment using skittles sweets and watched the colours emerge once we added water. We then made our own pictures of the end result and used our phonics to write the colours. We also had great fun sitting around our bonfire singing and toasting our marshmallows.

On Wednesday we had visitors from Fairplay House who came and did team building exercises with us. We worked really well together and make a super team.
