Before using any CNC router, members must:
Complete the CNC Orientation
Complete the Tool Authorization Checklist
Demonstrate safe operation of the machine
Understand workholding (clamps, screws, vacuum, fixtures)
Learn proper toolpath creation and simulation in VCarve
Know how to set X/Y/Z zero points
Understand feeds, speeds, and bit selection
Learn emergency stop procedures
Know how to monitor a job safely
Never leave a CNC router unattended while running
Keep hands clear of the spindle and moving gantry
Secure workpieces properly — loose material is dangerous
Use appropriate bits for the material
Verify toolpaths before running
Watch for smoke, burning smells, or chatter
Stop the job immediately if something looks wrong
Keep the area clear of debris and offcuts

Loveland CreatorSpace uses VCarve as the primary CAM software for both CNC routers. Members may design their projects in any CAD program, but toolpaths must be generated in VCarve unless otherwise authorized.
Use your preferred CAD software (Fusion 360, SketchUp, Illustrator, Inkscape, etc.) and export to DXF/SVG.
