Loveland CreatorSpace welcomes visitors, friends, and curious makers. Guests help introduce new people to the community and allow members to share what they’re working on. To keep the space safe, fair, and sustainable, all guests must follow the guidelines below.
Guests are welcome at Loveland CreatorSpace, but guest access is intended for occasional visits, tours, and trying out the space — not ongoing use. Anyone who wishes to use the space regularly, access tools independently, or participate in training should become a member.
Guests must always be accompanied by a member and must follow all safety and supervision rules.
All guests must complete the Loveland CreatorSpace Guest Waiver Agreement before entering the Shop.
The waiver only needs to be completed once.
After signing, the guest may return for future visits as a guest, provided they are accompanied by a member.
Guests must still check in with the accompanying member each visit.
The waiver ensures:
the guest understands safety expectations
the guest acknowledges risks
the guest agrees to follow instructions and posted rules
Guests may:
observe projects
socialize
attend public events
participate in classes or workshops (if registered)
use low‑risk tools in the Front only under direct supervision of the accompanying member
Guests may not:
use Shop tools independently
use restricted or high‑risk equipment
be left alone anywhere in the space
access the space without a member present
Guest access is designed for short‑term or occasional use, such as:
touring the space
trying out a class
visiting with a member
attending a community event
If a guest begins using the space frequently — especially for tool access, projects, or training — they should transition to a membership. This ensures:
fair use of shared resources
proper training and authorization
consistent safety practices
support for the community and facility
Members are encouraged to invite guests, but ongoing guest use is not a substitute for membership.
Guests:
Must be accompanied by a member
Must follow supervision rules
Cannot use most tools
Cannot access the space independently
Cannot vote or participate in member governance
Must sign the Guest Waiver once
Members:
Receive 24/7 access
May use tools with proper training
May attend member meetings and vote
May bring guests
May participate in training and authorization
Support the space through dues
Minors may visit as guests, but:
they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
they must follow the Minor Access Policy
they must be listed on the Minor Access & Supervision Agreement
they may only use tools allowed for their age group
they may not use Shop tools without same‑room parental supervision
If a member wishes to bring minors regularly, they should upgrade to a Family Membership.
If a guest enjoys the space and wants to:
work on personal projects
use tools independently
attend training
participate in the community
bring minors as part of their household
…then becoming a member is the right next step.
See the Membership page for details on Individual, Family, and Corporate memberships.
