Loveland CreatorSpace welcomes youth participation as part of our mission to foster creativity, technical skill, and community engagement across all ages. The Family Maker program allows minors to safely explore maker activities under the supervision of a parent or guardian, while maintaining the same standards of safety and accountability expected of all members.
The minors program is built around three key documents:
Minor Access Policy – Defines eligibility, supervision requirements, and approved activities.
Supervising Adult Agreement – Outlines responsibilities for parents or guardians who oversee youth participation.
Youth Participation Waiver – Ensures informed consent and acknowledgment of safety guidelines.
Each form is linked below for easy reference and completion.
To visually identify authorized youth participants, Loveland CreatorSpace issues Family Maker badges. These badges display:
The minor’s name
Authorized machines and approval dates
Supervision requirements
Emergency contact information
Example badge designs are included on the following page.
Review the Minor Access Policy before any youth activity.
Complete the Supervising Adult Agreement and Youth Participation Waiver.
Submit forms to the Membership Coordinator for approval.
Once approved, the minor will receive a Family Maker badge listing authorized tools.
This section ensures that all youth participation at Loveland CreatorSpace is safe, supervised, and aligned with our community values.
