Welcome!

My name is Coach Wood, and I am so glad that I get to teach you this year. It's going to be a great school year, and you will have lots of opportunities to get better at reading and writing!

All About Me

This will be my 12th year teaching middle school students with 10 years of it teaching 8th graders reading and writing. My husband, who is the Senior Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Tech, and I have a 4-year-old, Adam. We also have an amazing dog, Cooper.

I graduated from Blinn Junior College and Texas Tech with a degree in Exercise Sports Science. Also, I was a member of both Blinn's (06-07) and Tech's (08-10) volleyball team.
