My name is Nikki Curry, and I am excited to be your teacher this year! I am looking forward to learning and growing with you! My goal is for every kid to enjoy my classes and be successful.

All About Me

I have been teaching at LCMS for nine years. This will be my 14th year in public education with three previous years in a private school setting. This year, I will be an English co-teacher. I have been married for twenty one years to my husband, Sean, and we have two daughters. Hannah is a sophomore at Lubbock-Cooper High School, and Holly is a freshman at Texas Tech University.

My Education

I graduated from South Plains College with an associate's degree in Arts and Sciences. Then, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I went on to get my teaching certification and Master's in Education.

My Favorites

Food: I love chicken fried steak, but I cannot eat it much.

Book: I love the book Stargirl, and I enjoy reading it with my classes.

Season: I love fall because of the color of the leaves.

Animal: I have three dogs and a cat.

Hobby: I love shopping.

Movie: Right now, I really like I Can Only Imagine.
