My name is Alex Engberg and I am excited to be your teacher this year! I am looking forward to learning and growing and making memories with you!

All About Me

This is my second year teaching at LCMS. This year I will teach 8th grade Principles of Human Services and coach cheer with Ms. Campos and Mrs. Erikson. I am from a small town in Nebraska and migrated down to Lubbock for college. Throughout my years at Texas Tech, I fell in love with Lubbock and decided to stay. I am very family oriented and love to hear about everyones families and friends. When I'm not at school, I'm either at Starbucks or shopping.

My Education

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. I am certified to teach Family and Consumer Sciences 6-12th grade. Throughout my years at Tech, I served as the Secretary, Treasurer and Historian in the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences as well as an active member in Phi Upsilon Omicron. Upon graduation, I received the Outstanding Senior Award through the College of Human Sciences.
