Welcome!

My name is Brenda Cunningham and I am your LCMS librarian! I am so excited to see everyone this year and am thrilled that we are in our new building! We will have lots going on in the library, so drop in and check it out!

All About Me

I am beginning my eighth year as a librarian and my fourth year as the Lubbock-Cooper Middle School librarian. I split my time between both the LCMS and LBMS libraries. I have been married to Doug for over 30 years and we have one son, Cole, who graduated from LCHS in 2016. I love reading (of course!), working jigsaw puzzles, embroidery, cooking, gardening, and pretty much any outdoor activity!

My Education

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Elementary Education. I also received my master's degree in Library Science from Texas Woman's University.

My Favorites

Food: Mexican food ... I could eat it every meal!

Book: There are so many ... I love historical fiction!

Season: Fall - cool air, pumpkins, falling leaves and hot chocolate!

Animal: I'm a total cat person.

Hobby: Jigsaw puzzles (any time)

Movie: The Quiet Man (John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara) or The Devil Wears Prada or Hidden Figures
