Hello Cooper Pirates! I am Coach Cox and I am very excited to meet all of you and get to work this year!

All About Me

This will be my very first year teaching and I couldn’t be more excited to start out at Lubbock-Cooper Middle School. This year I will be teaching 6th grade math and will be the head tennis coach. Tennis and math are two of my favorite things in the world, so I am honored to get to teach both!

My Education

I graduated from Monterey High School in 2017, and I have just recently graduated from Texas Tech University in 2021 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in mathematics.

My Favorites

Food: Blue Sky Cheeseburger with fries, Taco Villa or Chick-fil-A

Book: The Great Gatsby, The Outsiders and the Bible

Season: Summer

Animal: I love dogs (my favorite are huskies), monkeys and lions.

Hobby: I love all things to do with sports, bike riding, family time and baking!
