My name is David Martinez and I am excited to be your Band Director this year! I am looking forward to learning and growing with you!

All About Me

I have been teaching at LCMS for 1 year. This will be my 26th year teaching. This year I will teach 6th Grade Band, Symphonic Band and Honor Band. I am originally from Clovis, New Mexico and have lived in Texas since 1988. I have taught in West Texas and South Texas and I am proud to be back on the South Plains. I love living in Lubbock and am proud to call it my home.

My Education

I am a 1988 graduate of Clovis High School and I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in Music Education.

My Favorites

Food: Spaghetti, Lasagna, Hamburgers and STEAK!!!!
