Welcome!

My name is Cathy Barnhill and I am an Assistant Principal at LCMS. I am looking forward to seeing all of you this year. If you are an incoming 6th grader or new to LCMS, come and introduce yourself so that I can get to know you. 7th and 8th graders, I can't wait to see you again. This is going to be an exciting time.

All About Me

I have been at LCMS for 4 years. This will be my 17th year in education and my 13th year at Lubbock-Cooper. I love being a Lubbock-Cooper Pirate!

My hometown is Munday, Texas. I have been in Lubbock since graduating from Texas Tech University in 2003. I am married to Rocky Barnhill and my son Easton is a freshman at Lubbock-Cooper High School. I also have 3 grown step children and 2 granddaughters.

I love to read and spend time with family and friends. My family is very involved in sports and outdoor activities, so we spend alot of time traveling. We also have 2 Olde English Bulldogges.

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. My Bachelors Degrees are in Education and Human Development and Family Studies.
