I am thrilled to be a new Pirate!! This is my first year with LCISD and my second whole year teaching! I was a substitute and a long-term substitute with LISD. Then, after becoming a certified teacher, I taught 6th and 7th grade science with LISD, and I am excited to be LCMS’s STEM teacher!
I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan, and I have lived in Ohio, California, and now Texas. I have ridden and shown horses for much of my life in a variety of disciplines, and I taught horseback riding and competition in English, Western, Dressage, and jumping for about 10 years. I loved watching my students learn, grow, and succeed, and be able to adapt my teaching style to a variety of learners. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, relaxing with friends, watching documentaries, and playing with my cats and chickens.
