Welcome!

My name is Mrs. Gonzales and I am excited to be your orchestra teacher this year! I am looking forward to learning and growing with you! Whether you are starting orchestra for the first time, or if you are continuing from last year, we have a lot of fun music we will learn. I can't wait for us to perform for our 2nd Annual Night at the Grammy's concert filled with some awesome pop music. We are also looking at a fun trip, and UIL Contests in the spring!

All About Me

I have been teaching at LCMS for 2 years. This will be my 9th year teaching. This year I will teach both of our Beginner Orchestra classes and our Sinfonia Orchestra, in addition to the orchestras at Laura Bush Middle School and Lubbock-Cooper High School. My hobbies include running, baking chocolate chip cookies, and spending time with my family.

My Education

I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a double major in Music and Advertising for my bachelor's degree. I received my master's degree in music, specifically string pedagogy, from Texas Tech University.
