Welcome to 6th grade!!
This is going to be a great year!!
My name is Staci Mullins, and I am excited to be your teacher this year! I am looking forward to learning and growing with you! I have been at LCMS for 4 years, but this will be my 13th year teaching in the district. Before coming to LCMS I taught kindergarten and pre-k for several years. I loved my time teaching "littles," but as my own children grew up, I wanted to "grow up" with them. This will be my third year teaching Social Studies.
At home, I have a husband, two kids, and two dogs. Glen and I have been married for 23 years. He works for Texas Tech in the College of Education. Our kids are Nate and Mikea. Nate is a junior at the high school. He spends as much time as possible in and around the band hall banging on the drums and the marimba. Mikea graduated from LCHS in 2020, and after taking a gap year to work and take some computer classes locally, she is finally moving off to Yale University in August. Our two dogs, Sandy and Ginger

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies way back in 1997. Several years, a husband and two kids later, I went back to TTU and completed the post-baccalaureate teacher education program. I am certified to teach core subjects from pre-k to 8th grade, but my favorite is 6th.
