Around the Commonwealth - countries explored: Canada, Australia, UK, India, Samoa, Jamaica, Nigeria & Scotland.

Throughout our 2 day celebration children experienced new foods such as Jerk chicken, Lamington cakes, Samoan Otai and Nigerian chapman drinks.

We learnt about and took part in new sports, undertaking our own Highland games. Through art, we explored Samoan printing techniques, Nigerian Batik designs and made Jamaican wristbands.

We danced and sang to culturally appropriate songs from the Commonwealth and finally dressed through the decades!
