We organised a Jubilee celebration Fun Day! This was on the last day of term: Friday 27th May, 2022
Children dressed up in costumes from their designated decade.
We had many fun activities planned for the children during the day, including:
A live band that performed for the children at 2pm and continued through pick up for parents to join in with their children as they came in.
A circus tent and party bus for the children to attend throughout the day in their year groups. Children attended various workshops and performances.
A 7 Decades theme art exhibition that parents could also visit at pick up time, in the school hall. Each class created an art piece in the style of an artist from their perspective decade. Each decade was from the Queen’s reign and was put on display for all to see.
An ice cream van selling tasty ice creams!
School dinners that day were served in the form of an outside Jubilee Picnic! This was fish and chips in a box and Victoria Sandwich cake!
The children also cooked various Commonwealth themed dishes throughout term 5, with our lovely principal as the judge.
