心得與反思 Reflection

I think this self-study project is very beneficial to me. Since I have interests in playing games and sketching, I want to challenge myself: using an iPad to trace an art work from Path to Nowhere (video game) by applying techniques learned in the online courses tough by Ahoi 厚子. During the courses, I make notes regarding how to make a special effect in the art work. I learn plenty of techniques: body structures, face structure, colorings, tones, atmosphere, picture composition, lights, etc. The way Ahoi teaches these concepts are really clear, and she also gives examples. These concepts are applied in my art work efficiently. For instance, the facial expressions, body structures, and particularly the atmosphere and tones. However, there are several challenges and difficulties while drawing the backgrounds such as the buildings, rain effect, puddles, and the perspective (Ahoi used Clip Studio to draw while I use Procreate). Hence, I found some resources on YouTube, Instagram, and BiliBili, allowing me to solve the problems while finishing the work. In conclusion, hobbies of drawing and playing games guided me to start this self study topic, which I really enjoy.
