Thank You for a Fantastic Year!
Dear NCES Community,
On behalf of the PTA Board, I would like to thank all the PTA members, volunteers, and families for your incredible support and dedication this year. Your hard work and commitment have made our events and initiatives a tremendous success. When we set out this year, the PTA’s goal was to strengthen our school community through family-engaging events. I'm so proud of what we have been able to accomplish together!
With the help of Dr. Terry and our wonderful volunteers, we were able to bring back Champ’s Skate Parties, introduced our very first Someone Special Dance, Valentine’s Day Candy Grams, Donuts with Grownups, Trivia Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, Field Day, 5th Grade Promotion and so much more! We hope these events have led to an improved school experience for your children, families, and the teachers/administrators who work so hard every day.
This year, the PTA smashed its goal and raised $16,000 in which 100% of the funds raised directly support the students, teachers and staff here at NCES. It is so special to be a part of a community that rallies together for the betterment of our school. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this fundraising campaign.
Although the end of the year is upon us, we are already looking ahead to next year! If you or someone you know would like to get more involved, the PTA is currently recruiting volunteers to help form committees, co-chairs and other ancillary roles! Please email us at NCES.KNIGHTS.PTA@gmail.com for more information!
We hope you have a safe and relaxing summer! Go Knights!
Best,
Emily Jarvis, PTA President
