✏️ Comprehensive School Survey

Please take a moment to fill out the Comprehensive School Survey. Your voice helps us celebrate wins and also drives adjustments for our district and school! Not that Principal Terry is competitive, but he is wanting to get our overall parent participation more than the previous year which was well below 50%. Let's Go, NCES Families!

🗒️Message from Librarian, Christi Davis

Dear NCES Families,

We are excited to bring back the Scholastic Book Fair for this spring!

The in-person fair will run from Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22. Students will be invited to shop during their class’s scheduled library time.  They may also shop before school (7:45-8:30) during their Donuts with Grownups day.  In addition, just like in the spring, grownups are invited to shop with their child during their scheduled time.  Please RSVP here if you plan on attending.

If you can’t make it to the In Person Fair, you can shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.

To make the shopping process simple, say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! You can share your child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.  Teachers may also be sharing a link to their class ewallet for donations to their classroom and/or other students.

Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping.   NCES Book Fair

Finally, to make this Book Fair run smoothly, I am in need of parent volunteers during the week of March 18-22 any time you can spare from 9-3.  If you are available to help, please sign up on the volunteer sign up sheet linked here and on the NCES news.

Thank you so much for your continued support of the library and literacy!

Blessings,

Christi Davis, LMS
