It is very important that elementary families with students returning to in-person instruction visit school this week to retrieve their car rider number and important paperwork for the return to in-person instruction. Pick-up is available at the times listed below.
Starting on Tuesday, March 9th, contactless pickup will be available daily at the front entrance from 8-2 PM.
If you need a basic thermometer to check your student's temperature prior to bringing them to school in the morning, please let our staff know during the pick-up and we will provide you with one. (While supplies last!)
In-person students will follow the schedule below for the return to school:
Friday, March 19th: Kindergarten through fifth-grade students with last names L-Z (Group B) will report for in-person instruction.
Monday, March 22nd: Kindergarten through fifth-grade students with last names A-K (Group A) will report for in-person instruction.
Tuesday, March 23rd: Kindergarten through fifth-grade students with last names A-K (Group A) will report for in-person instruction.
Wednesday, March 24th: Asynchronous day for all kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
We will be hosting the YMCA Childcare Enrichment Program when we return to school! They will be offering all day care for the three days your child doesn't have in-person school, along with before and after school care. Spots are very limited! Visit THEIR WEBSITE to find out more information and to register.
To adhere to safety guidelines, we are required to limit visitors in our building to participants in ARC meetings. For parents/guardians conducting pick up during the school day, school personnel will obtain a parent/guardian's signature at the front entrance, and the student will be escorted to the front entrance.
Due to COVID restrictions, students are unable to bring birthday treats to school to share.

An isolation area is set up for students showing symptoms of illness. Students will be under the care of a health professional until picked up by their families.
Our school, like every school in JCPS, has a Healthy at School Officer, who will be your primary contact to report a Covid-19 exposure, positive Covid-19 case, or ask questions regarding the virus. Our school’s Healthy at School Officer is Assistant Principal Shawn Wilson. Shawn can be reached at shawn.wilson@jefferson.kyschools.us. Shawn will work with the district’s contact tracers to identify possible exposures, coordinate school-level data with district and local health officials, and provide important information that you’ll need to keep your family safe.
