Teaching & Learning is excited to launch the Lakeville Area Schools Elementary Collaboration Station project! This project is designed to support teachers in curating curricular resources. These materials would represent teacher created or modified resources that align to the MN state academic standards.
This collaborative project would support teachers with rich and robust supplementary resources that would not only align to the MN state academic standards, but would also supplement district approved curriculum. This project would honor the expertise and creativity of our talented teachers and their willingness to share their skills and resources with one another. It also supports feedback received from educators for the desire to collaborate and share ideas.
Elementary IDSS will partner with PLCs as they identify quality resources to be shared. These resources will be housed within folders in Google Drive. These folders will be organized by grade level and/or specialist group and will be accessible on the Collaboration Station web page, within the Elementary Teaching and Learning website.
Below is a list of considerations that will guide which resources will be placed within these collaborative folders:
Considerations:
Honors copyright restrictions
Aligns to MN state academic standards
Instructs through an equity lens
Connects to SEL goals
Supports current best practices in instruction
Shared resources will be reviewed by members of the Teaching & Learning team. Once approved, these resources will be available to teachers.
Teaching & Learning is excited to support this collaborative project. Our hope is that this effort will be helpful to you as you continue to support your students.
