The Screening to Intervention (s2i) report includes an individual intervention plan for students needing additional support. This plan contains a list of interventions and the measure used to progress monitor. Please note that only 3 interventions can be linked in the s2i report plans.
Benchmarks: These are the standards by which student scores are judged. They are used to determine whether students are on track to be successful or are at-risk. These are noted in FastBridge as "!" or "!!".
! = some risk (students in the 40th- 15th percentiles)
!! = high risk (students at the 15th percentile and below)
Strategic/ Some Risk
Those students at some risk (!) are closer to meeting the benchmark goal and can often reach the end-of-year benchmark goal with a less intensive intervention. These students can usually be progress monitored at grade level every other week.
Intensive/ High Risk
Those students who are high risk (!!), generally need more intensive intervention in order to catch up and reach the grade level benchmark. Sometimes these students can be progress monitored in grade level material, but when their skills are very far behind, they might need off grade level monitoring. This means that they complete weekly progress measures that are matched to skills from a lower grade level, until they catch up far enough to move into weekly monitoring on grade level..
This document will help define who will support progress monitoring
