Week 4

We had a fabulous trip with P2/3 to Eden Court to see The Scottish National Orchestra perform Yoyo and The Little Auk. P2 were a fantastic audience! We learned about the different instruments in the orchestra, tried to follow the conductor and enjoyed the animated story.

A huge thank you to our fantastic helpers!

Learning about our emotions

We used the stories of the Colour Monster to learn to recognise and name our own emotions.

Week 3

We developed our class charter together. Everyone helped to decide what we wanted to include. We each designed and cut our own fabulous frogs.

We love the library

We visit every week to enjoy choosing and reading the books together.

Week 2

A big thank you to the Parent Council who paid for a fantastic session with Steve from Drumfun!

P2 enjoyed exploring the different drums, playing different beats, having turns to conduct all the drummers, singing and dancing.

Week 1

P2 had lots of fun getting to know our new classmates, learning our new routines and looking after our new spaces upstairs. We were glad we were able to see our friends from P2/3 as well!

We have been revising our sounds and learning a new one. We have thought about our emotions and how we can be good friends.
