OUR VALUES - Friendship - Honesty - Kindness - Respect - Trust
Good Evening,
P1 NATIVITY COSTUME REMINDER!
A big thank you to everyone who has already brought in a white t-shirt in a labelled bag this week.
In the show your child is a star. The children have made their own star crowns in school but please can they bring in a white t-shirt and black bottoms (leggins/trousers/joggers) this week.
Costumes should be be sent into school named - Please label every piece of clothing - and in a named bag (bag for life is perfect) that we can keep in school until after our performances. When the performances are over we will send the bag home. Please do not put costumes in your childs school bag - the bag should be brought into school seperate to their school bag and handed to the class teacher.
If you do not have anything suitable, please don’t worry or buy anything - we have a collection of white t-shirts at school that can be used if required but if you do have something at home that would be suitable - it would be very helpful and appreciated.
If you have any questions please get in touch.
Many thanks!
Miss Gemma Munro

Our new sounds in Phonics this week have been the "d" and the "g" sound. We have been practising identifying both sounds, saying the sounds and forming the letter shape correctly.
As part of World Book Week P1 celebrated by receiving their Primary 1 Bookbug Bags. We listened to the stories in class before taking teh books home and we absolutely loved the variety of stories on offer. We loved One Goose Two Moose and had lots of laughs whilst reading this book!
We hope you have enjoyed sharing the stories at home!
We enjoy a visit from PC Katie this week as part of our People Who Help Us Topic! We even got a go at trying on the handcuffs!
Rembrance Day Poppies! As part of our Rembrance Day celebrations we made Poppies in the style of pointilism! We used red paint and cotton buds to create our masterpieces. Our Poppies were displayed on the wall as part of a Ness Castle Poppy cascade at the front of school for everyone to enjoy.
Dear Parents and Carers,
This year’s nativity is “The Bethlehem Bake Off” and the children are already having great fun preparing for it. Using the links below, you will be able to access the soundtrack so the songs can be enjoyed and practised at home. The words for each song will be sent home next week as part of the children’s homework. Thank you for your support—we can’t wait to share the performance with you!
