At Ysgol Y Bryn, we are proud to offer an exciting range of Bryn Beyond Clubs that enrich our children’s learning and allow them to explore new interests, develop skills, and build friendships outside of the classroom.
These clubs are a core part of our wider commitment to nurturing the whole child — supporting their creativity, wellbeing, and confidence through engaging, purposeful activities.
Bryn Beyond Clubs are enrichment activities that run after the school day, led by passionate staff who bring energy and expertise to each session. Unlike our After School Club (which provides structured childcare), these clubs are designed specifically for pupils who want to explore their interests, discover new talents, and have fun while learning.
They are open to children across different age groups and change each term to reflect pupil voice, seasonal themes, and staff availability.
We believe children learn best when they’re interested, engaged, and inspired. That’s why many of our clubs are based on the ideas and suggestions of the children themselves. We regularly ask for their feedback and use it to shape future clubs and enrichment offers.
Clubs at Ysgol Y Bryn are more than just fun — they’re an opportunity for children to grow, belong, and flourish. Whether they’re singing in choir, developing teamwork in sports, or building fine motor skills through knitting, every session contributes to their wider learning journey.
We look forward to seeing our clubs continue to grow and inspire!
To help cover the cost of resources and materials, we kindly ask for a small contribution of £1 per week, payable in advance for the half term via Parent Pay.
Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
For parents needing extended care beyond 4:20pm, our After School Club is available from 3:15pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, at a cost of £6 per session.
