Module 1
Positive thoughts / Happiness:
Todays lesson was al about happiness and what makes us happy. We had to discuss all the different things that make us happy and why with our talking partner. We then had to compare and contrast our things and our partners. After this we had to make a happiness poem.
NC: that mental wellbeing is a normal part of daily life, in the same way as physical health.
that there is a normal range of emotions (e.g. happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, nervousness) and scale of emotions that all humans experience in relation to different experiences and situations.

Goal setting
Todays lesson we learnt about what a goal is. We had to talk to our peers and discuss what our goals are, short term and long term. After this we had to write our goal down and explain how we can achieve it.

Module 2
Rules and Laws
In this lesson we learnt about what rules and laws are. We looked at the similarities and differences between rules and laws and what consequences are for them. We then compared them with our school's Golden rules, our class expectations and our house/home rules. We were then given some scenarios and we had to put the right consequence to the rule or law that has been broken.
NC: that in school and in wider society they can expect to be treated with respect by others, and that in turn they should show due respect to others, including those in positions of authority
Families
In this lesson we looked at what families are and the different types of families that people have and the importance of a family. We spoke about what a family means to each of us and then discussed our family with each other. We then drew our family and compared them with other children in our class.
NC: the characteristics of healthy family life, commitment to each other, including in times of difficulty, protection and care for children and other family members, the importance of spending time together and sharing each other’s lives.

Community
In this lesson, we looked at what a community is and if we belong to any. We then discussed what different communities there are and then tallyed up how many different communities we are aprt of. After this we looked at what makes a positive or negative community and linked this to our own communities and stated how we can make our communities more positive.
