Pulse of the song:
In our first music lesson of this term, looked at pitch. We had to listening to a song and then try and find the "pulse" and then continue the beat. Ater that, we began working on pitch and understandng what pitch and how we can change our pitch. We did this by doing listening and recall activities. Once we had understaood the pict of some elements of the song we had to create actions to it to help usknow when we had to change our pitch.

Pitch:
We began the lesson by listening to a new song and revisiting our previous lesson of trying to find the beat “pulse” of the tune. After this, we had to warm up our voices by working through our challenges where we had to sing random words in a high or low pitch tone. For our main part of the lesson, we learnt about pitch and how we can change it in different parts of the song. While we were singing, we had to demonstrate our pitch by moving our hand either up or down to show what pitch we were singing. We finished the session by performing the song we had just learned without any support.

Module 3

This term we have continued to impove our reading of music and identifying the different symbol and signs. We have also developed our keeping toa rhythm and a beat.

Call and Respond:
Today, we began our lesson by warming our bodies and recapping how to find the pulse of a tune. For our main activity, we practised our new song through our call and response skill. The boys had to sing the first part of the song and then the girls had to respond the what the boys say with their verse. For us to help remember the lyrics, we had to create actions for the different parts. and if possible try and use them when singing.

Music Creating
In this weeks music lesson, we were being creative using instruments, our bodies and objects from around the room. After we had created the music, we had to try and come up with and improvise random words that is associated with the music.

Module 4
Music genres - Pop music
This module we are focusing on different music genres and this week we are focusing on Pop music. We looked at different artist that sing Pop music and counted the beat of a number of Pop songs. We then started to practice sing a Pop song to develop our singing skills. We finished by listen to a Pop song and identifying the pulse, chores and different veres.

Music genres - Soft Rock music
This week we are focusing on the genre of Soft Rock. We looked at rhythmic notes and learnt what we need in them. We then started to practice sing a Soft rock song to develop our singing skills. We finished by listen to a soft Rock song and creating dance moves linked to the song and then perofmed them for the class to see.

Music genres -
This week we are focusing on the genre of Soft Rock. We looked at rhythmic notes and learnt what we need in them. We then started to practice the "Music man" song. We learnt the rhymthm and created different actions to do while we are singing. We the rehearsed the different sections and then performed the song as a group.
