Course overview - Study Period 5 and 6
During the fifth study period - Would you prefer to visit Heidelberg or Paris?
Learners will study what another part of the French-speaking world is like. The focus will be on being able to describe a trip to Paris and what is there, what one can do and how to talk about the experience using present, past and future tenses. They will collate the information they gather and showcase their work in the form of a project to the class.
During the sixth study period - What makes a country unique?
Learners will look at describing a region & local area within a French speaking country of their choice. The focus will be to describe what there is and what you can do plus provide their opinions. In addition learners will look to compare different towns and argue where they would prefer to live.

Assessment Points:
Per study period there will be the following:
Written Assessment to be marked formally and written feedback provided
A reading or listening assessment
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, including feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, vocabulary tests, self & peer assessments of inc class tasks
